Acquired by the RCN: 27 Jan 1941

Fate: Sold in Apr 1946 to private interests. Still in service in 2012.

 

BARKLEY SOUND was originally owned by the Union Trading Company, Vancouver BC. On 27 Jan 1941 she was acquired by the RCN for service as part of the Fishermen's Reserve. She was sold in Apr 1946 to Jack Joliffe of Alert Bay.  In 2012 she was still in service in Mission B.C.
