Built by Harbour Boat Builders, Vancouver in 1928, she was owned by Kanekichi Tanami of Ucluelet Fishing Co. Ltd. Acquired by the Crown in Jan 1942, she entered into service as part of the Fishermen's Reserve. After the war she was sold to R.C. Wyllie of Vancouver, BC.
