Birmal Boat No. 2 was custom built for the RCMP. She was built of a new material called 'Birma Bright', an aluminum alloy, making her light and fast. She was attached to 'J' Division and was used as a tender for Ulna until she was turned over to the RCN in 1939 as BURMA and used as a dispatch boat in Halifax Harbour. In 1942 she was designated HC36. She was declared surplus and sold in September of 1945. (Ship's history from the research of Bryon Taylor)
