M/B Guardian was a Preventive Service vessel and was turned over to the RCMP 1932. She worked out of Halifax. Nova Scotia. In 1939 she was turned over to the RCN and entered service as GUARDIAN from 1939 to 1942. In 1942 she was re-designated HC 47. She was condemned and declared surplus 08 June 1944 and was finally scrapped in 1945.  (Ship's history from the research of Bryon Taylor)
