She was acquired as the VERAINE I by the Royal Canadian Navy as a Despatch Boat for service 1942-45. She was renamed as HC 135. (She is reported to have become the VERAINE). As VERAINE she was a Canadian Naval Launch, Flag Officer's Barge (Admiral's Barge) in service with the Royal Canadian Navy 1952-57. In 1957 she was renamed as Q.M.B. 100 and Q.M.C. 100.
