BELL, Daniel, AB, 4078, RCN, died - 09 May 1945, HMCS MILLTOWN - Son of Charles Edward and Ruth (Janes) Bell; brother Constance Jenkins, Medicine Hat, AB; Gladys Sanderson, Regina, SK; Daisy Hudson, New Westminster, BC; and William J. Bell of Saskatoon, SK
Able Seaman Daniel Bell enlisted on January 18, 1940, Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan as a boy seaman. He was a general labourer prior to enlistment. AB Bell was involved with an end of war party at Saint John during which he consumed a fair amount of alcohol, plus another substance so that the board of inquiry was unable to determine the nature or source of death.
AB Bell is buried in the Hillside Cemetery, Medicine Hat, Alberta.
