Died: 09 Jun 2013, Victoria, British Columbia

 

FALLOWFIELD, John Thomas - John lost his battle with cancer at Victoria Hospice. He was predeceased by his daughter, Lisa, July 13, 2001 and his mother, Marjorie, July 25, 2009. He leaves to mourn his passing wife, Janet, son Patrick (Jennifer), grandsons Ryan and Kyle, father, Irwin, sister Colleen (Rodney), brother Larry (Rhonda), mother-in-law, Marilyn Noakes and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. He also leaves our precious little dog, Singer, John served with the Canadian Armed Forces (Navy) for 38 years. After retirement, he started a lawn and yard care business. Following that, he worked at the Legislature as a member of the indoor sessional staff where he retired in February, 2013 due to his illness. John loved to ride his Harley, walk our dogs and spend time at our place at Lake Cowichan. Thanks to the caring staff and volunteers at Victoria Hospice and RJH 7N. At John's request, he wished that any donations be sent to: Children's Health Foundation of Vancouver Island, 2390 Arbutus Road, Victoria, BC V8N 1V7. Ride On!

  

John was the 1988 Canadian National Darts Champion.
