Robert Michael Mizuik

Died: 27 Jul 1994

 

MIZUIK, Robert Michael - 53, Newport Corner, Hants County, died July 27, 1994, in Victoria General Hospital, Halifax. Born in Sudbury, Ontario he was the son of Lillian (Brisbois) Mizuik, Sudbury and the late Michael Mizuik. He was a member of the Armed Forces, serving for 35 years with the Submarine Squadron based in Halifax. He is survived by his wife, the former Rhiannon Davies; son, Christopher Michael; two daughters, Alexia, Jaimie. A memorial service will be 2 p.m. Monday in St. Brendan's Chapel, Stadacona. Lieut. Funnell officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at sea. Donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia.

 

Robert's ashes were committed to the sea off HMCS Onondaga on 19 Sep 1994 with his family in attendance.
