Died: 11 Nov 2003, Dartmouth, Nova Scotia

 

BEDARD, Jacques - 54, Dartmouth, passed away suddenly November 11, 2003, in Dartmouth General Hospital. Born in Cowansville, Que., May 23, 1949, he was a son of Marcel Bedard, Quebec and the late Madeleine (Gauthier) Bedard. Jacques will be lovingly remembered by his wife, the former Mary Madden; daughters, Charlene (Chris) Weaver, Michelle Bedard; brothers, Robert, Louis, Ronald and Luc; sisters, Monique and Manon; a long list of in-laws, nieces, nephews, friends and co-workers. He was predeceased by sister, Lise. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. today, 2-4, 7-9 p.m. Friday in Atlantic Funeral Home, 771 Main St., Dartmouth. Full Military funeral mass will be held 1 p.m. Saturday in St. Vincent de Paul Roman Catholic Church, Flying Cloud Drive, Dartmouth, Father Patrick Cosgrove officiating. Burial will follow in Dartmouth Memorial Gardens. Reception to follow in the funeral home. Family flowers only. Donations in memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation of Nova Scotia would be greatly appreciated.

 

Ships served in:

HMCS TORONTO - Commissioning crew as POTEL. Served as POTEL for Toronto's deployment on Operation Sharp Guard Aug 1994 - Jan 1995

HMCS ST JOHN'S - Served in St John's in 1996 as POTEL for a period of 40 days.
