Harold Vernon Rogerson

 

Died: 17 Dec 2016, Brockville, Ontario

 

ROGERSON, Harold Vernon - WWII and Korean War Veteran and Retired Artist - Passed away peacefully at the St. Lawrence Lodge on Saturday, December, 17 2016. Harold Vernon Rogerson, at the age of 91 years. Husband of the late Lorraine (nee Lewis) Rogerson. Survived by his children Danny Rogerson (Mary Ann), Nancey Hicks, Larry Rogerson (Esther), Brian Rogerson (Linda), Peter Rogerson (Cindy) and Christine Rogerson (Paul). Also survived by several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, as well as a brother Keith Rogerson. Predeceased by his siblings Chuck, Lionel, Ilene, Velma, Ida and his parents Charles and Mary Rogerson. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Irvine Funeral Home and Chapel, 4 James Street East, Brockville on Saturday January 7th from 10 am until 11 am when a ceremony celebrating Harold's life will be held in the Chapel. Officers and Members of the Royal Canadian Legion Br. No. 96 will gather for a memorial service at 11am followed by a funeral service. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery, Brockville. In memoriams to the Kingston 4 Paws for service dogs or the Wounded Warriors Fund will be gratefully acknowledged.
