SUTO, Harry - age 86. With great sadness we announce the passing of our father. Born in Montreal, 1932, dad was a son of Gabriel and Katalin Suto. He died peacefully after a brief illness, surrounded by family in Camp Hill Veterans' Memorial Building, QEII, June 2, 2019. Dad was predeceased by his beloved wife of 49 years, Lilla (Norton) and sister and brother-in-law, Elizabeth and Joseph Kovacs. He will be lovingly remembered by us, Dawn Pearson (Ted), Darleen Bernier, and his adored grandchildren, Courtney and Ryan Derible; Meagan, Sarah (Stefan) and Mathieu Bernier (dad Sylvain); great-granddaughters, Caiden Gleiser and Harper Derible; step great-granddaughter, Cameryn DesRochers; step grandchildren, Paul (Claire) and Leah Pearson (Jeff); step great-granddaughter, Audrey, and step great-grandsons, Ethan and Jackson Pearson. He served in the Royal Canadian Navy for 37 years on various H.M.C Ships and RN Submarines and was a veteran of the Korean War (HMCS Huron 1953-54). He was a life member of the Submariners Association East Coast, a life member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 160 Dartmouth, and a member of the Atlantic Chief and Petty Officers Association, East Coast. Our cherished dad enjoyed life, travel and spending as much time as possible with his family, no matter where they were in the world. We will all miss your unconditional love, patience, guidance, kindness and generosity. Thank you so much to the staff at 6 East, Camp Hill for the wonderful care dad received over the past two and a half years. Cremation has taken place and interment will be in Christ Church Columbarium for immediate family only, at a later date. Donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Diabetes Canada.

Lt (N) Suto's  ashes were committed to the sea in a ceremony on HMCS SACKVILLE on 21 Sep 2020
