Note:  Charles' headstone reads Sweeny.  The Canadian Navy Lists have his name as Sweeny and Sweeney in various volumes.

RCN BARRACKS ESQUIMALT - Appointed to RCN Barracks Esquimalt 01 Sep 1942 as a SLt, RCNVR (seniority 27 Apr 1942) (Navy List Sep 1942)  (Sweeny, C.H.)

* Listed in Navy List for March 1943 as Sweeney, C.H., SLt, RCNVR  (seniority 27 Apr 1942)

HMCS QUATSINO - Appointed to Quatsino 18 Mar 1943 as a Lt, RCNVR (seniority 27 Apr 1943) (Navy List Aug 1943).  On page 170 for the Aug 1943 Navy List, he is listed on as Sweeney - appointed to Quatsino; and under the entry for Quatsino on page 546, he is listed as Sweeny .

* Listed n the Navy List for Dec 1943 as Sweeny, Lt, RCNVR, Official Number O-71540 (seniority 27 Apr 1943)

HMCS NEW WATERFORD - Appointed to New Waterford 16 Jan 1944 as a Lt, RCNVR - Official number O-71540 (Navy List Feb 1944). As of  Navy List for Mar 1945 - Charles H. Sweeny was still serving in HMCS New Waterford.

* After Mar 1945 there are no further entries in the available Navy Lists for Charles H. Sweeny / Sweeney
