Donald Frank Dunham

 

Died: 09 Jun 1999

 

DUNHAM, Donald Frank - of Summerland, BC, formerly of Toronto, ON went to be with the Lord on June 9, 1999 at the age of 79 years. Survived by his loving wife Joyce of Summerland, BC, and children: Robin (Lois) Dunham of Penticton, BC, Donna Armstrong of Claremont, ON, Susan (Ken) Sherban of Oshawa, ON, Charles (Marsha) Dunham of St. Catherine's ON, John (Lynn) Dunham of Whitby, ON, Joy (Greg) Cinq-mars of Stouffville, ON, Joseph Dunham of Stouffville, ON as well as fourteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Predeceased by two sisters. Donald was a part of the Navy in WWII as a wireless operator and was a member of the Legion. He was an avid reader and loved to garden. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 15, 1999 at 10:00 a.m. from the Okanagan Falls Cemetery, Okanagan Falls, BC followed by a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. from the Okanagan Falls Community Church, 1356 McClean Creek Road, Okanagan Falls, BC with Reverend Ted Searle officiating. Memorial tributes may be directed to the Gideon Memorial Bible Plan, c/o Cecil Packer, Box 22115, Penticton, V2A 8L1 or BC Heart & Stroke Foundation, Box 597, Pentiction, BC V2A 6K9 in Donald's memory. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Parkview Funeral Home (Globe and Mail 14 Jun 1999)
