BOURRET, Pierre Serge, LS, 48188-H, RCN, died - 23 Oct 1969, HMCS KOOTENAY - he was the son of Patrice and Marguerite Bourret of Weddon, QC; husband of Roberta Sandra (nee Rapp) Bourret of Halifax, NS.

 

LS Bourret was one of nine sailors who died as a result of a gearbox explosion and fire aboard HMCS Kootenay.  He is buried in the Brookwood Military Cemetery Surrey, United Kingdom.
