PHILLIPS, Robert R., OS, V54643, RCNVR, MPK - 04 Jan 1944, HMCS WENTWORTH - Son of Morris Lloyd and Mabel S. Phillips, of Calgary, AB.

 

Ordinary Seaman R. R. Phillips was lost overboard when serving on HMCS WENTWORTH during heavy weather in the North Atlantic. Ordinary Seaman Phillips together with two other ratings were washed overboard, Petty Officer F. W. Lawrence, R.C.N.V.R. and Able Seaman W. R. Mennell, R.C.N.

HMCS GIVENCHY - Served in GIVENCHY 17 Sep 1943 - 11 Dec 1943 as an OS, RCNVR
