In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
SALTER, Morgan Lewis - born February 12, 1931, Winnipeg, Manitoba, passed away peacefully on October 18, 1999. Morgan is survived by his loving wife, Kathleen; his children, Mark (Cardna), Mike (Kris), Gale (Mike) Neil (Sandi) and Janet (Steve); grandchildren, Ryan, Jacob, Kye, Brandon, Jeffrey, Daylin, Shivonne and Taleaha, close friends, Cowboy (Audrey) and family and many other family and friends. After retiring from the navy, Morgan went on to work both in retail and as a commissionaire. Morgan will be remembered for his generosity, open door policy and also for his great love of the outdoors, with hunting and fishing being his passion. Morgan will be sadly missed by all who knew him, including his hunting family in Prince George. Memorial service will be held at First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 4725 Falaise Drive, Victoria, BC on October 22, at 10:00. a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or the Victoria Hospice Society.
