In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar

Peter A. Darroch

Petty Officer, C.A.F. (Navy)

Born: 1920          Died: 2021

DARROCH, Peter A. - Husband, Soulmate, Father, Brother, Uncle, Mentor and Friend.

Peter was born to "take charge or be charged". He retired from the Navy as Petty Officer on the HMCS PROVIDER. Peter's next passion was for sewing and canvas work (mainly boat tops) and decided entrepreneurship was his next calling. He was a hands-on man and a hard worker to the very core. However, Peter also enjoyed fishing, traveling, and spending time with friends and family. He gave back to the community both as a Boy Scout leader and a member of the Cordova Bay Kiwanis.

We will miss your infectious 'Darroch' laughter, passionate nature and your joy for life. You may have left a gap in our hearts, but we will fill it with fond memories of our time together and try and check off your unfinished bucket list. Keep "drawing those pictures in the sand" until we meet again.
Sharon, Shane and Caleigh welcome you to a celebration of Peter's life Saturday, July 24th 1-4 pm at 985 Sutcliffe Rd (open house) (Victoria Times Colonist 17 Jul 2021)
