MEYER, Montague Barrington - on the 15th January, 1998. Born in Regina, Saskatchewan on the 1st of September, 1920. Devoted husband of Catherine. Predeceased by his brother Barry and survived by his brother Richard and sister Mary. Loving father of Robert of Barrhead, Alberta, Richard (Kulli) of Victoria and Marcia (Chuck) of Gabriola Island. Proud grandfather of Stephanie, Eric, Alex, Jenna, and Katie Rose. Dearly missed by all his family and friends. He truly touched the lives of all those who knew him with his extraordinary sense of humour and compassion. The jewel in his crown of commitment to helping others shone brightly through the years. Together Monty and Cathey loved and guided many as group home parents, most recently at T.C.L.S. (Variety Farm). A Memorial Service will be held at Delta Christian School, 4789 - 53rd Street, Ladner, B.C. on the afternoon of Saturday, 24th January commencing at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Amber Rogers Missionary Fund, co of the Delta Church of Christ, 205 - 1318 - 56th St., Delta, B.C.
