MASON, Glenn Campbell, Sto 1c, V60221, RCNVR, died - 05 Aug 1944, HMCS GRANDMERE - Son of Kenneth F. and Phyllis Mason, of New Glasgow, NS.

 

Stoker 1st Class Glenn Campbell Mason was a fire truck driver before he enlisted into the R.C.N.V.R. on March 24, 1943. He was killed in a car accident in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Glenn was an occupant of a car that was speeding and struck a curb on Spring Garden Road, Halifax and overturned several times. Stoker 1st Class Mason was taken to the hospital but death had occurred before arrival. 

 

Stoker 1st Class Campbell is buried in the Lorne St. Cemetery, New Glasgow, NS.
