DAVIDSON, Peter Craig - It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of Peter Davidson on December 21st at St. Joseph's Hospital with his daughter Judy by his side. Peter remained in positive spirits and grateful for her company in his final days. Peter was born in Ottawa and was raised by his grandmother. In his early years, he enlisted into the Royal Canadian Navy. The Navy brought Peter (Peaches) many experiences and travels throughout his service, including sailing on the BONAVENTURE, and playing football with his crew mates. Peter met his beautiful wife Betty in Nova Scotia and had three wonderful children. Together they moved to many different places, finally settling down in Thunder Bay. Peter and Betty managed Vic Tanny's for many years. Later in life, he also drove The Courtesy Shuttle for Lakehead Motors where you could find him deep in conversation, telling jokes and treating customers as friends. He had many cherished memories with the guys hunting in Oscar (Graham) at the cabin and hitting the course golfing in his spare time. His kind, loving nature and humorous attitude will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Peter was predeceased by his loving wife Betty (2020) and is survived by his children: Judy (Vernon), Debbie and Craig: his grandchildren Ryan, Ashly, Mia, Nick, and William: step grandchildren Ashley and Brandon and his great grandchildren Kylan, Emery, and Isabel. We extend our deepest gratitude to the doctors, nurses, and staff at St. Joseph's Hospital. Cremation has taken place and an interment of ashes will take place at a later date with family.

“May the longest night and the shortest day, bring rest to your mind and soul, I pray”
