Allan's brother, AB Alexander Roberts died while serving in HMCS ST LAURENT during the Second World War
Allan's brothers James Roberts and George Roberts and his sister-in-law's brother, Jerome Dougherty, also served in the Navy during the Second World War. Allan's father George Roberts served in the RCAF during the First World War.
