PITRE, Ralph J. - The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, on Friday, May 23, 2008 of Ralph Pitre of Tignish Shore, aged 72 years. He was born in Tignish Shore on August 3, 1935 to the late Arthur and Virginia (Doucette) Pitre. Brother to Hector (Annie), Tignish Shore; Mae Gallant, Tignish Shore and Theresa Carr, Tignish as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Arthur and Virginia, brothers Gussie, Joe, Albert, Melvin and Lambert and a sister in infancy. Resting at the West Prince Funeral Home, Palmer Road for visiting hours Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 pm and Monday from 2-3:15 pm. Funeral will be held Monday at St. Simon & St. Jude Church, Tignish with funeral mass at 4 pm. Memorial donations to the Western Hospital Equipment Fund would be greatly appreciated. Members of the Tignish Legion will hold a service of remembrance on Sunday evening at 6:45 pm at
