Keith Edward Jones

 

Leading Seaman Anti-Aircraft Gunner, RCNVR

 

Born: 12 Aug 1924          Died: 13 Jun 2018

 

 

JONES, Keith Edward - Passed away in his home on June 13, 2018 in his 94th year. He served his country from 1941 to 1945 with the Royal Canadian Navy Volunteer Reserve, enlisting at the age of 17. He was also a veteran of the Toronto Fire Department, serving from 1950 to 1980 and achieving the rank of Captain. He is survived by his sons Brian (Twyla) and Mark (Elizabeth), sister Gwen, numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He is predeceased by his loving wife Audrey (nee Hooper) of 70 years, parents Wilfred and Sarah Jones, Brothers Gordon (Australia), Lloyd (B.C.), and sister Ruth (Colorado). A Memorial Service will be held on June 20, 2018 at 10 am in the chapel at Jerrett Funeral Home – 660 Kennedy Rd., Scarborough. Donations in memory of Keith may be made to the Lung Association.
