Petty Officer 1st Class Engineer, 22440-E, RCN

Born: 02 Dec 1947          Died: 08 Apr 2006

LANGLOIS, Ted - With much sadness we say goodbye to and celebrate the life of Ted. He passed away peacefully at Sandringham Care Facility with his family by his side. Ted was predeceased by his wife Gwen in May 2004. He is lovingly remembered by his daughters Janie (Ian) and Cindy (Don). Much loved by his two granddaughters Melissa and Michelle (Shane). Great-granddaughters Rebeka and Ashley will sadly miss their 'Ted'. Ted proudly served in the Canadian navy for over twenty years and went on to become a fire fighter for DND. Ted was an avid sports person and golfing at the Gorge Vale was a mainstay of his life for many years. When his health no longer allowed him to play golf, he continued to cheer on his family's sports and life achievements. His last years were difficult, but he was gracious, loving and demonstrated a new sense of humour that the family will cherish forever. As you think of Ted today, is is our hope that you will have good memories of the time you spent with him. The family would like to gratefully thanks the staff at Sandringham who provided such wonderful care for our Dad. We always knew that when our visit was over, the staff, who we felt became part of our extended family, would continue to care for him until our next visit.

Ted served in the RCN 10 Oct 1945 - 19 May 1965
