JAYNES, George Earl, Sto 1c, 21786, RCN, MPK - 19 Sep 1941, HMCS LEVIS - Son of George Earl and Margaret Eliza Jaynes, of Ladner, British Columbia.

 

Stoker George Earl Jaynes Jr. of Langley Prairie, British Columbia. He was the son of George Earl and Margaret Eliza Jaynes who moved with their family from Kerrobert to the Big 4 farm near Flaxcombe in 1930, then on to Aldergrove in 1936. Earl was born at Govan, educated at Kerrobert and Flaxcombe and was farming when he enlisted on September 16, 1940 at Langley, British Columbia.

HMCS HOCHELAGA - Drafted to HOCHELAGA 06 May 1941 as a Sto 2c, RCN
