MORIN, Joseph Georges Edouard Vincent, OS, V3985, RCNVR, killed - 06 Feb 1943, HMCS LOUISBURG - Son of Mr. and Mrs. Antoine Morin, of St. Romuald, Quebec; husband of Geneva Morin, of St. Romuald.

 

OS Morin died when his ship, HMCS LOUISBURG, which was on convoy duty in the Mediterranean, was sunk by bombs and torpedoes from Italian aircraft.

HMCS CORNWALLIS - Drafted to CORNWALLIS 28 Jul 1942 as an OS, RCNVR
