LECLERC, Conrald Joseph Wilfred Gerald - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Conrald Leclerc at the age of 75. Conrald was born in Quebec and traveled extensively during his years of service in the Royal Canadian Navy. He then settled down in Sooke, B.C. where he proudly owned Sooke Rentals for many years and became good friends with many of his customers. Conrald leaves behind his children Jenny (Paul), Phillipe, and Jacquie. His grandchildren Juliette, Felix, Hunter, and Amelia. And his sisters Denise (Jacqués) and Claudette (André). And many more extended family and friends who loved and cared for him throughout his life. Conrald found peace in nature. He loved having campfires in his backyard and telling stories of his navy days. He was so proud of his grandchildren and would share photos of them with anyone he could. Conrald was loved and adored by his family, friends, and community. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Alzheimer Society of Canada or to the Legion Poppy Fund to help veterans and their families. (The Victoria Times Colonist 29 Mar 2023)
