Harold is buried in the Beechmount Cemetery, Edmonton, Alberta.
Harold's brother, Layer Rating Clare Andrew Real, RCNVR, died when his ship, HMCS SPIKENARD, was torpedoed and sunk during the Second World War.
Harold's brother, John Blake Real, also served in the RCNVR during he Second World War.
