KAVANAUGH, Karl Edward - "Right here, right now, all I'm saying is I'll decide"

 

With his loving family by his side, Karl passed away peacefully at home on February 22, 2012. He will be sorely missed by his wife, Shirley, children Neil (Elaine), Sally (Gerry), Jane (Jim), Laura (Barry), grandchildren Tyler (Hiromi), Arielle, James, Samantha (Adam), Jessica, Sky, Liam, great grandchildren Ayanna, Alex RunmaruHinase. Karl will also be greatly missed by his brothers Tubby (Lester) and Drew, his sister Johann and their families. The family would like to thank Dr. Martin Lane, the Hospice and Palliative Care teams who took amazingly loving care of Karl as well as his family throughout this time. A celebration of Karl's life will take place on March 10, 2012 at 3:00 pm at the Prince Edward Legion Branch #91, 761 Station Rd., Langford, BC. One of Carl's many passions was working at the local food bank, in lieu of flowers donations to the food bank would be appreciated. (The Victoria Times Colonist 03 Mar 2013)

 

Ships served in:

HMCS BONAVENTURE - Served in BONAVENTURE 1967-1970 as a PO2 ET. He maintained the Telephone Exchange on board ship.
