WAYE, Gordon Drury - At Grey Gables, Markdale, Ontario, Sunday, July 10, 2005, Gordon Drury Waye of Markdale, in his eighty-sixth year. Veteran of W.W.II. Beloved husband of Shirley of Markdale. Dear father of Don Waye of St. Colomb, Quebec, Dr. Robert Waye (Joan) of Elora, N.Y., and Margaret (Bob McEwen) of St. Anne de Bellevue, Quebec. Loving grandfather of Erin, Andy, Angela, Heidi and Lucas Waye, and Kelly and Tim McEwen. Predeceased by brother Cliff, sister Ola, and grandson Daniel Waye. Friends may call at the May Funeral Home, Markdale, Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. A Funeral service will be held at Christ Church Anglican, Markdale, Thursday, July 14 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in Markdale Cemetery. If desired, donations to Christ Church Anglican - Building Fund, or the charity of your choice would be appreciated. Flesherton-Markdale Legion Branch 333 will hold a memorial service in the funeral home, Wednesday at 6:45 p.m. (The Montreal Gazette 12 Jul 2005)
