Died: 19 Jan 2003, Chatham, Ontario

 

WATSON, William Hanks - of Chatham passed away January 19, 2003 at his residence. Born in Blenheim 81 years ago, son of the late Herbert Watson and Hazel Hanks.

 

Bill was on of the original founders and owner of Huron Construction Company.

 

He is survived by his wife the former Mary Constance McClenahan, daughters Joan and husband Fraser Johnson and Martha Watson, son Peter Watson and wife Peggy, grandchildren Ian, Mary, Jamie, Blair and Stewart. Predeceased by brother Jack Watson.

 

Rested at the J. L. Ford Funeral Home for visitation on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A private family funeral followed with Rev. John Hodgins and Rev. James Stevenson officiating. Interment Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials to the Red Cross Society, Victorian Order of Nurses or charity of choice would be appreciated.
