They made the Ultimate Sacrifice

COUSLEY, Robert Gustave, AB, RCN, died - 01 Jul 1961, HMCS ASSINIBOINE - Son of Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Cousley; brother of John, Patrick, Timothy, Lynn and Maureen, all of North Surrey, British Columbia. 

Able Seaman Cousley was in the Royal Canadian Navy assigned to HMCS Assiniboine which was visiting Juneau AK. Unfortunately, during a trip ashore he contacted high voltage power lines from which he did not survive.
