Born: 1920

 

Died: 28 Sep 1985, Comox, British Columbia

 

STEVENS, Harold Vincent (Hal) - On Saturday, September 28, 1985, Harold Vincent Stevens, late of Hornby Island, passed away in Comox, B.C., at the age of 64.  Survived by his loving wife, Joyce; sons, Rick and Rob; daughters-in-laws, Sherry and Karen' grandchildren Lisa, Jenny and Jeff; brothers, Les and Bernard. Numerous nieces, nephews and many good friends.  Recently retired from the Department of Highways Hornby Ferries, Hal served proud years with the RCN from 1939 to 1965.

 

Family services were held, followed by cremation.  RCN Memorial Services will be held and his ashes scattered at sea.  Flowers gratefully declined.  Friends who so desire may send donations to the Comox Valley Hospice Society or the Terry Fox Cancer Fund.  Peircy's Funeral Home, Courtenay, in care of arrangements.  (click here to view the obituary as published in the Victoria Times Colonist)
