Patrick grew up in Prince Albert, SK and at the age of 17 he enlisted in the Royal Canadian Navy as a coder. After the war he went and played professional hockey in Britain for 6 years. While he won numerous championships he always quipped that his best "trophy" was his English Bride Jean, his loving wife of 64 years. He returned to Prince Albert and later moved his family to Regina where he was a sales rep for Carling and Molson Brewery where he made many friends and created many fond memories. During retirement Patrick and Jean enjoyed travelling to Europe, Mexico and later Palm Springs where Calypso Palms became a second home and family. Dad was an avid sportsman enjoying golf, hockey, football, baseball, racquetball and curling. He belonged to the YMCA for over 50 years. We will miss his quick wit, positive attitude and beautiful smile. Thank you to the wonderful staff at Wascana Rehab 3-5 Veterans Ward for taking such good care of dad over the past year and a half. Your care and compassion truly made a difference.
