George's brother Robert passed away in 2016 and Robert's obituary states that George predeceased him.
George's 3 brothers, Robert McIldoon, Jack McIldoon and Edward McIldoon all served in the Navy. Edward lost his life when HMCS MARGAREE was sunk during the Second World War.
