In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
HILL, Stanley Wilbert (Stan) - passed away peacefully in April 2026 in Victoria, BC at the age of 96.
Stan grew up on a farm in Irma, Alberta with his parents and seven siblings.
He joined the navy in 1949 and had a successful career serving until early 1970s.
Stan then co-owned Raynor Lowcost corner grocery store in the late 1960s and early 1970s.
After which he went back to Naden Dockyard as an instructor until he retired.
He married the love of his life in 1953. After May passed Stan continued with their shared love of dancing. He also curled for many years and later took up lawn bowling.
Stan is survived by his four children, Carol, Susan, Philip and Irene as well as eight grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
He was a loving husband, great Dad and Grandad.
