Died: 27 Jun 2025, Victoria, British Columbia, Canada

 

Served in the Navy 1967 - 1970

 

TERRY, William Alexander - passed away on June 27, 2025 at home in Victoria, BC.

 

Born in Edmonton, Alberta. Life Story: Bill lived a rich life full of adventure. He grew his love of the sea when he joined the Royal Canadian Navy at the age of 17. After travelling the world as an Able Seaman upon HMCS Bonaventure; he left to explore the roads of Canada through the windshield of his 18 wheeler. He remained a Professional Truck Driver until his love for the sea drew him back where he began his Sailing Charter career alongside his Linda-Loo.

 

Bill’s excitement and passion for life was as infectious as his laughter. He lived by his mantra of “Live’r & Giver” up to his last days. He will be fondly remembered by all those who had the privilege to know Bill and be loved by him. Predeceased by: His Father, Sidney and Mother Jean. Survived by: His love of his life of 40 years, wife and partner, Linda. He also leaves behind his 4 children; Tammy(Wayne), Steven, Kevan(Juliane) and Terri-Lyn(Ben). And the ones who were partners in all of Grampa’s shenanigans, his 9 Grandchildren and 8 Great-Grandchildren. Other beloved family; Brother Mark and Sister Edna. Nieces; Fontana(Leo) and India(Bryan) & children.

 

Service Information: A Celebration of Life Memorial Service Funeral Service Service of Remembrance will be held at Ross Bay, Victoria on July 26th, 2025 at TBD am/pm. (First Memorial Funeral Services & Garden of Memories)
