Born: 11 Mar 1928, Edmonton, Alberta

 

Died: 17 Oct 1996, Saanich, British Columbia

 

YEATS, Ronald Graham - passed away suddenly on October 17, 1996. Ron was born on March 11, 1928 in Edmonton, AB. He moved to Claresholm, AB in 1944, where he met the Love of His Life . . . Betty (nee Clark). He joined the Navy in 1946. Ron and Betty were married on Nov. 19, 1951, and they settled in Victoria after his retirement from the navy in 1971. Ron was employed at the Esquimalt Dockyard until 1993. He was predeceased by his father, Finn, in 1951 and by his mother, Win, in 1980. He is survived by and will be ever missed by his ever loving wife and best friend, Betty, and by his sons Kirby of Victoria, Bruce of Thailand and Greg of Calgary and by his grandchildren, Travis and Jamie. Memorial services will be held in the chapel of First Memorial at 4725 Falaise Drive in Saanich on Thursday, October 24 at 2 P.M. Flowers are gratefully declined. Please donate to charity of choice. "Always loved in our memories."
