Died: 27 Aug 2022, Cornwall, Ontario

 

AUDET, Joseph Victor - Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s Villa in Cornwall, August 27, 2022 at the age of 94.

 

A very special thank you to the staff for their excellent loving care and family support.

 

Victor is survived by his daughters Micheline (Richard) and Diane (Terry) , his grandchildren

 

Stefan (John), Emma, Joshua, Sarah and Andrea. also his great grandchildren

 

Audrey, Kinley, Lydia, Noomi, Liam, Evi, Leona and Ophelia.

 

He is predeceased by his wife Monique De Serre, and his siblings.

 

Victor served during the Second World War as a very young man with his father and brother manning the shore battery in Gaspe Bay. He was in the Royal Canadian Navy during the Korean war and well into the 1970's as stoker. He served on the Tribal Class destroyer HMCS HURON 216, HMCS BONAVENTURE  and then HMCS HURON 281. A private graveside service has taken place.
