John Wallace (Jack) Goodman

Died: 16 Jul 2025, Parksville, British Columbia, Canada

 

GOODMAN, John Wallace (Jack) - age 76, of Parksville, British Columbia; passed away, peacefully in his sleep on the morning of July 16/2025.

 

Jack was predeceased by his parents, and is survived by his loving wife, Gayle Goodman; his son, Jack Goodman, and his stepchildren, Jennifer Campbell, Steven Campbell, Lisa Sinnott and her husband Jayson Sinnott. He will also be missed by his grandchildren Ella Goodman, Aidan Downing, Caley Downing, Gabrielle Sinnott and Grace Sinnott; and his large extended family.

 

Born in Yorkton Saskatchewan, Jack joined the navy at the age of 17 and served for almost 30 years. As a young man, Jack loved the navy and his time in service which included being stationed in Vietnam just after the war and then later in Cambodia with the UN. Jack loved to “cowboy” every summer in High River, which he did for many years. His true passion was enjoying extended motorcycle trips on his Harley Davidson with his beloved wife Gayle. Together they explored much of North America and enjoyed the camaraderie of the motorcycle community.

 

Jack will be greatly missed by those who knew him. In lieu of flowers, please donate to The Canadian Cancer Society. (Dignity Memorial)
