Born: 23 Jun 1938          Died: 31 Oct 1970

 

Robert served in the RCN from 04 Feb 1959 to 28 Jun 1968.  He is buried in the Brookside Cemetery, Winnipeg, MB.

HMCS CHIPPAWA - 04 Feb 1959. Enlisted as an OSEMS, RCN

HMCS BONAVENTURE - Served in Bonaventure 29 Jul 1959 - 14 Feb 1960 as an OSEMS and OSEM1, RCN. Rated OSEM1 04 Feb 1960

HMCS HURON - Served in Huron 26 Sep 1960 - 21 May 1962 as an ABEM1, RCN

HMCS MICMAC - Served in Micmac 14 Jan 1963 - 18 Mar 1964 as an ABEM2, RCN

HMCS NIPIGON - Served in Nipigon 30 May 1964 - 17 Sep 1967 as an ABEM2, LSER2 & LS MarEng, RCN. Rated LSER2 01 Oct 1966. Trade re-classification to MarEng 01 Jan 1967. Was serving in Nipigon when the JP5 explosion occurred in 12 Mess on 18 Oct 1965

HMCS GRANBY - Served in Granby 18 Oct 1967 - 25 Sep 1968 as a LS MarEng, RCN
