Harold William Reilly, C.D.

Died: 23 May 2018, Hamilton, Ontario

 

REILLY, Harold William - Passed away peacefully at Hamilton General Hospital on May 23, 2018, at the age of 83. Loving husband of Doretta, and proud father of Christina (Dwight), Christopher and Penny. Adoring Papa of Noah, Jacob, Isabella, Joel, David and Nicholas. Harold will be sadly missed by all of his family, friends and former colleagues. In keeping with Harold's wishes, there will be no funeral service, cremation has taken place. Harold will be laid to rest at sea. (The Hamilton Spectator 23 May 2018)

 

REILLY, Harold - Harold was with the Hamilton Division of the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires for a total of 20 years all of them in By-law first in Stoney Creek then becoming the Detachment Commander for Hamilton By-law in 1999. Prior to Hamilton he was with the Commissionaires in both Manitoba and Nova Scotia serving a total of 32 years. Harold served in the RCN for 22 years as a signalman. He served in HMCS CHIGNECTO, HMCS SAGUENAY, HMCS KOOTENAY and HMCS TORONTO. Harold passed away on May 23, 2018. (Corps of Commissionaires, Last Post)
