Stoker PO Cull died of wounds sustained in enemy action aboard HMCS FRASER during which FRASER collided with HMS CALCUTTA 12 miles due west of Pointe de la Coubre light at the Gironde River mouth and sank as a result with the loss of 65 of her crew. 

 

 Stoker PO Cull is buried in Weston Mill Cemetery, Plymouth, England. Prior to joining the RCNVR he was employed as a farmer and served in the 15th Light Horse as a Trooper from 01 Jun 1926 to 29 May 1927

 

The British Columbia Geographical Names Office honoured Petty Officer Call on 11 November 1992 by naming a Bight after him. The Bight is located on the east side of Desolation Sound, north of Gifford Peninsula, New Westminister Land District.
