Allan Alexander

 

Chief Petty Officer 2nd Class, Radioman, C.A.F. (Navy)

 

Born: 14 Nov 1959

 

Died: 27 Sep 2021, New Zealand

 

ALEXANDER, Allan - joined the Royal Canadian Navy in about 1982. Having previously served in the Royal New Zealand he joined as a Leading Seaman in the Radioman Sea trade. He served in various establishments included: Her Majesty's Canadian Ships Saskatchewan, Provider, Annapolis, and Vancouver, Canadian Forces Station Aldergrove, Sea Training Pacific and Canadian Forces Fleet School Esquimalt. While serving at CFFS Esquimalt Al was promoted Acting While So Employed to Chief Petty Officer First Class. Following his successful term as Training Officer in the Communications Section he reverted to the rank of CPO2.

 

After a struggling heart for a few years Allan's heart took it's last beat on the afternoon of 27 Sep 2021 peacefully in his mum's home in New Zealand.
