In memory of those who have Crossed the Bar
McLEAN, Mark Donald - It is with great sorrow that the McLean family announces the sudden loss of Petty Officer First Class Mark Donald Mclean (ret) of Victoria BC on July 17 at the age of 53. Loving husband of Irene Joanne. Amazing father of Brandon, Jennifer, Courteney, Tralena, Kyle, Trinity and Colin. Survived by his loving mother Janet and now with his dear father Donald (predeceased). Dear brother of David (Rosalie) of Garson and sister Catherine Bruley (Guy) of Coniston. Sadly missed by his nephews Christopher, Stephen, Tyler and Jonathan and his niece Andrea. Mark joined the Royal Canadian Navy at 18 and served his Country for 31 years before retiring. He loved camping in his motor home and spending quality time with his wife and children. He enjoyed long talks with his mom and expressed his love each and every time before saying goodnight. We will miss him and hold him dear all our days. A celebration of his life will take place at St Andrews Church in Coniston on September 18, from 1 until 4.
