Died: 02 Nov 2002, Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada

 

RUDDERHAM, Freeman Murray (Juice) - 64, Aylesford East, Kings Co., passed away November 7, 2002, in the New Halifax Infirmary, QEII. Born in Point Edward, Cape Breton, he was a son of the late Wilfred and Johnina (MacKay) Rudderham. He served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 36 and a half years. During that time he had served aboard the Magnificent, Bonaventure, Protecteur, Huron, Fraser and Iroquois, attaining the rank of warrant officer. He was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 164, Eastern Passage. He will be dearly missed by his beloved dog, Trapper John. Surviving are his wife, Gwen (Gates) Rudderham; daughters, Jenina and Tammy Rudderham, all of Aylesford East; God-daughter, Amanda Lunn, Eastern Passage; sister, Mary Rudderham, Point Edward; brothers, Daniel (Pearl), Pliny and Carl (Ruth) Rudderham, all of Point Edward; Michael (Rose) Rudderham, Alder Point; mother-in-law, Grace Gates, Aylesford; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by sister, Goldie Musgrave and a sister in infancy. Visitation will be 7-9 p.m. Sunday, November 10, with a Royal Canadian Legion service and the funeral service at 3 p.m. Monday, November 11, all in H. C. Lindsay Memorial Chapel, Berwick, Rev. Terry Coldwell officiating. Burial in Berwick Cemetery. Donations in memory may be made to any charity.
