Born: 21 Apr 1921, Halifax, Nova Scotia

 

Died: 10 Feb 1967 enroute to Hospital in Halifax from Spryfield, NS

 

Born in Halifax, he was the son of Raymond and Anastasia (née Coolen) Doherty of Propect, NS.  Raymond married Doris Kennedy on 30 Jul 1946.  Their marriage registration lists Raymond as serving in the RCNVR.  He enlisted in the RCNVR 21 May 1940 and transferred to the RCN 26 Nov 1940.
