THOMPSON, Ross Edward - Born Jul 4, 1920. Passed away January 2, 1999 in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Predeceased by his wife, Betty, he is survived by: daughters; Pat (Len) McKay and Donna (Frank) May, both of Victoria; grandchildren: Mitchell, in Vancouver; Colleen (Lou) Garraway, in Victoria and Maureen (Glynn) Fagan, in Kelowna; great-grandchildren: Amber, Lacy, Allana, Kelsey and Clayton; sister, Audrey (Tom) Graham and family, in Victoria; brother, Doug (Betty) Thompson and family, in Calgary; sisters and brothers-in-law: Joan and Russell Casey, Ron and Nancy Hughes, Shirley Gallagher, Jack Richardson and many nieces and nephews, all of Halifax. A memorial service is to be held at Snows Funeral Chapel in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Thursday, January 7, with one to be held in Victoria at a later date. (The Victoria Times Colonist, Wed, 06 Jan 1999)
