Commissioned: 06 Sep 1939

Paid off: 31 Mar 1945

Fate: Sold for scrap in 1946

 

HMCS MALASPINA was a Canadian government fisheries patrol vessel pressed into service with the Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) in 1917 and again in 1939 and which therefore saw service during the First World War and Second World War. During WW 2 she served as an examination vessel and training vessel.  MALASPINA was serving as a tender to HMCS Royal Roads when she was paid off in 1946.
